You can enrol in ATPL Performance & Loading individually or complete both courses back-to-back. Places in the 15th–23rd March Flight Planning course are initially reserved for students attending both subjects.
Each course is delivered face-to-face in a structured classroom environment and includes access to the relevant ATS online course, textbook, practice exams and instructor support.
Class sizes are limited to ensure each student receives the individual attention they need to prepare for the exam.

This ensures students travelling to Perth or taking time away from work for Performance & Loading have the opportunity to complete both subjects in the same trip.

Yes. Full-time students also receive access to the complete ATS online course for the subject they are attending. This allows you to do some preparation beforehand and continue revising after the classroom component if required.
No. Accommodation is not provided as part of the course, so students travelling to Perth will need to arrange their own accommodation.
There are a number of Airbnb and short-stay accommodation options nearby, which are commonly used by students attending our full-time courses.
It depends on which courses you are attending.
If you are attending both Performance & Loading and Flight Planning, we will book your Performance exam for you. This guarantees you an exam slot before the Flight Planning course begins.
If you are attending Performance & Loading only, we will not automatically book your exam. This gives you the flexibility to spend some additional time studying after the course before sitting the exam if you would like.
For Flight Planning, we do not book your exam as we recommend allowing additional study and practice time after the classroom course before booking your exam.
No. CASA examination fees are not included in the advertised course fee. Where ATS books an exam on your behalf, the examination fee is still payable separately.
The $200 deposit is non-refundable. The deposit secures your position in a course with limited places and forms part of your total course fee.
We’ll send you information before the course covering what you need to bring. Your ATS course materials and textbook are provided as part of the course, but you should bring your usual study equipment, calculator and anything else you prefer to use for note-taking.
There is no requirement to complete the online course before attending. However, we strongly recommend making use of your early online access if you have the time. Even a small amount of preparation can make the classroom course easier to follow and give you more time to focus on the more challenging areas.
That’s the goal. Our full-time courses aren’t designed to simply cover the syllabus and send you on your way.
We intentionally allow time throughout the course to work through practice questions, exam-style problems and exam technique, so you can apply what you’ve learned and become familiar with the way you’ll be expected to use that knowledge in the CASA exam.
By the end of the course, our aim is for you to have both the knowledge and exam technique needed to confidently attempt the exam.
