This course is currently being developed in collaboration with a highly qualified ATPL Examiner to ensure it meets the highest standards of preparation. Here’s what you can expect: 

• Understanding the Test Structure

  • A detailed breakdown of what to expect, including the theory you will need to know and the style of questioning used by examiners, how the theoretical focus may vary depending on your aircraft type and airline operations (if applicable), and clear explanations of the examiner’s role, your co-pilot’s role, and how crew resource management will be assessed. You will also receive a step-by-step guide to the required sequences and manoeuvres you will need to demonstrate during the test.

• Guided by Expert Instructors

  • We will guide you through exactly how to prepare by breaking down the Flight Test Report, explaining what the broad terms refer to and how they relate to the specific skills and knowledge you will be assessed on. You will learn where to find the key information for your preparation. 

• Preparing Without a Type Rating or Airline Position

  • You don’t need to be type-rated or work for an airline to sit the flight test. We will cover what to expect if you are not type-rated, including how to approach learning an unfamiliar aircraft for the test. This includes guidance on understanding aircraft systems, procedures, and key performance details, as you will be quizzed on the aircraft during the assessment.

• Ideal for Overseas ATPL Conversions

  • This course is perfect for overseas ATPL holders preparing to sit the CASA ATPL flight test. Gain a clear understanding of how Australian aviation law is structured and what to expect in a CASA assessment. We will guide you through reading and interpreting the Flight Test Report and explain the Part 61 privileges and limitations of your CASA license, ensuring you are well-prepared and confident on test day. (Note, this covers the flight test preparation only, NOT the AOSA exam.)
