ATS provides high-quality online theory courses for pilots preparing for their ATPL exams. Our courses include textbooks, instructional videos, worked example solutions, and practice exams to ensure students are well-prepared.
Yes, our courses are designed to meet the CASA syllabus requirements for ATPL exams and we are able to sign off on re-training letters.
We currently offer all seven ATPL subjects, including:
ATPL Flight Planning
ATPL Performance and Loading
ATPL Navigation
ATPL Aerodynamics and Aircraft Systems
ATPL Meteorology
ATPL Air Law
ATPL Human Factors
Additionally, we are have supplementary courses for Airline Interview Preparation and ATPL Flight Test Preparation.
You can enrol through our website by selecting the course you want and completing the checkout process. You will then get instant access to the online component of the course.
To enrol in a full-time course, you need to fill out the enrolment form on the full-time course page of our website.
Online access and an early-access digital textbook are provided instantly upon enrolment. The hardcopy textbook is sent out via express post from Perth.
Our online courses are self-study, allowing students to progress at their own pace. The materials include textbooks, instructional videos, worked examples, and practice exams. Students can watch the videos as much as they like. Instructor support is available via email and texts.
You have access to the course materials for as long as you need to pass the exam. Generally, after two years, we will deactivate your account to avoid spamming you with exam changes after you have passed, but if you still need access, we can keep it active upon request.
Yes! We offer discounts when enrolling in multiple ATPL subjects together. In fact, if you enrol in all seven together you receive a free Airline Interview Preparation course (as you’ll be needing it once those ATPL’s are done!)
Our courses are designed for commercial pilots preparing for their ATPL exams. You should have passes in all CPL subjects before enrolling. There is no requirement to have IREX completed.
Each course includes:
A hardcopy textbook (except ATPL Air Law which is solely a digital textbook)
Online videos covering each topic
Worked example videos
Instructor support via email and texts/calls.
Five full-length practice exams (six for flight planning)
Additional resources and an internal blog with exam tips
We recommend the following approach:
Read the textbook chapter by chapter.
Watch the corresponding videos.
Complete the practice questions at the end of each chapter.
Attempt all five practice exams.
Use the final practice exam as a readiness check before sitting your actual exam.
Yes! Our platform is mobile-friendly, allowing you to study on any device.
Students can ask questions via our internal student support form, email, text, or the private Facebook group where instructors and past students share advice.
Yes, any ATS student can request tutoring if needed. Support is included as part of the course, but if you’d like a dedicated session to cover multiple topics in depth, we can arrange a tutoring session at a discounted rate.
With the exception of Flight Planning—yes. We don’t tutor Flight Planning to non-ATS students as it is such a procedure-based exam. In order to teach you the correct methods, we would have to start from the beginning as many fundamentals are often taught incorrectly by other theory providers. It would be more effective for you to enrol in the course, where you get all the benefits. For the other subjects, we do offer tutoring in unique situations. If you want to learn from ATS however, we recommend enrolling in an ATS course.
Yes, our practice exams are designed to mirror the structure and difficulty of CASA’s ATPL exams.
No, we cannot guarantee a pass. Success depends on your effort, study approach, and exam preparation. However, our structured courses, study materials, and support system are designed to give you the best chance of passing your ATPL exams.
We accept credit/debit cards and offer installment payment options on request.
We have a strict no-refund policy, but if you have special circumstances, please contact us to discuss options
